Mimosa Tree

The Flowering Mimosa Tree is a deciduous small to medium-sized tree that can grow 20 to 40 feet tall. The leaf arrangement gives the Flowering Mimosa Tree a fern-like or feathery appearance. The Flowering Mimosa Tree flowers from May through July. The flowers are fragrant and pink in color about 1½ inch long. The Flowering Mimosa Tree is loved by many because of its gorgeous colors in the fall time as well as their vibrant colors during May through July.

The Flowering Mimosa Tree is commonly planted in back yards or near patios because they often attract hummingbirds. The hummingbirds seem to be more attracted to this tree than any others. They have a tropical look, they are very hardy, and are drought tolerant.
