Silver blue scalloped foliage with clusters of star shaped, bright pink flowers in late September and October. Unique arching habit with the best winter resistance. Great groundcover or container plant. The entire plant turns light to deep pink with colder temperatures.
This clump-forming species offers some of the most beautiful foliage found in nature. The rounded, fleshy leaves are blue-gray with a wine-red edge. They are borne in threes on arching stems. The clusters of bright-pink flowers that appear in late summer or fall are a tardy bonus. An excellent edging plant for a sunny garden. Full sun, drought tolerant, deer resistant. Tolerates dry to moderately moist soil.
