Paulownia, also known as the princess tree is fast growing and is shade producing along with the gush of beautiful and elegant flowers. The flowers that appear on the trees look similar to the cascading orchids. The Paulownia can be grown in almost all types of soils and also has a strange capability of surviving fire withstanding droughts, logging and also bulldozing. It is one of the deciduous trees that have extremely large leaves that are large enough for easily being associated as a tropical plant. During the spring season the Paulownia is filled with the huge blossoms that are bell shaped and also share close resemblance with the foxgloves. These trees are non-toxic and also in some areas the leaves of these trees are also harvested and used as food for the farm animals. The Paulownia trees are fast growing and a completely mature tree can grow between the heights of 30 and 70 feet with the tree being 30 feet wide.
