Local Pick Up is Available for All Customers
If you live near us, you can pick up your order and save on any shipping charges. We just ask that you give us 5 days to dig your order and send to the packing warehouse for pickup. Our 3 barns in Altamont, Tennessee 37301 are all just 3 miles apart. Call us 1 day before you are able to pick them up to confirm the weather permits us to dig and which barn your order will be sent to. We will load your order for free. Just make an appointment before coming by. Remember, after 30 days, orders are no longer held. You will not receive a cancellation, refund, or credit.
We Pride Ourselves on Fast Shipping
We ship all orders out within 10 days. If you prefer your order to be shipped out on a specific date, please fill out what day you would like them shipped in the comments section of the online order form. We will hold your order and only dig and ship the plants on the day selected.
You Can Guarantee Availability by Reserving Plants
If you would like your plants shipped on a certain day, just tell us what day you would like them shipped in the comments section of the order form. Your plants will be dug up and shipped out on the day you requested.
Our Shipping Rates
Shipping rates varies from 9 to 17% of the total price. The final cost will be calculated before you submit your order. The shipping rates depend on the order’s weight, your location, and how many items you requested. Any order under $99 is a flat shipping rate of $39.99.
We Carefully Pack Every Order
All plants are freshly dug up the day before shipping. Once it is dug up, it is send to the shipping warehouse to dip the plants roots in Tera Sorb (absorbent gel that retains moisture), cover the roots with peat moss or straw during warmer months, and wrap in heavy mill plastic and containerize in corrugated pressure protecting cardboard boxes. To ensure little to no damage while shipping, we take an extra step and band every box and tape it up.
We Ship All Plants with Roots Dipped in Terra-Sorb
Terra Sorb is an extremely absorbent, potassium based co polymer gel available in fine, medium, and coarse grade that can absorb 200 times its weight in water. The gel slowly releases water to the plants making it ideal for shipping. Coating the roots in this gel allows the plants to retain moisture and arrive at your door alive and healthy!

Shipping and Processing
Our stock is professionally processed to promise a perfectly healthy and lively plant arrives at your door. Shipping time is calculated around 3-4 days. To ensure the plant stays watered and healthy, we package the plants to survive 10-12 days by dipping the roots in Terra Sorb (gel that absorbs 200 times its weight in water, wrapping the roots in peat moss for protection, and wrapping it in plastic to hold in all moisture.
How to Store Plants Before You Can Plant
If the weather isn’t ideal or you don’t have time immediately plant your plants that just arrived, then don’t worry. You can store your plants up to 2-3 weeks by placing them in a cool, dry environment like a basement, garage, or cellar. Simply leave the plastic around the plants and water every 3-4 days.
Shipping Methods
All plants and trees are shipped via FedEx Ground (excluding the large machine dug trees). We select the fastest shipping carrier. Review below on how we ship our large machine dug trees.

We ship to all 50 states and 13 foreign countries, as well as commercial job sites, residential areas, homes, and businesses.
Machine Dug Large Trees Shipping & Regulations
Since machine dug trees have to be delivered on a semi truck, there isn’t an order button for these. First, get an estimate on how many trees you would like, call a freight company for a transit quote (usually around $2.50 to $3.30 a mile from our zip code 37301). If the freight cost is affordable and would like to place an order, fax the order including a return fax, name, and delivery address to us at 931-692-4266. Within 2 hours on a normal business day, an invoice will be sent to you. Please allow 2 weeks for all machine dug trees to be shipped. You must pre pay before the trees are dug.
Trailer Load Estimate
The chart below includes a schedule estimate for how many trees can fit each load. Since delivery is based per mile, it’s best to order a full load. The customer bears the responsibility for the order amount. If truck is full and you still have trees that are dug and ready for shipping, you must order another truck or pick up the remaining items. After 7 days, the trees will no longer be cared for.

Shipping International
We are proud to ship international. Since shipping and customs fees are more expensive, we only accept international orders with a minimum amount of $5000.00. Federal Phtyo Sanitary Certification is $150.00 for each order plus shipping.
Freight Insurance Is Available Upon Customer's Request
Once an order leaves our shipping warehouse, we are no longer responsible for any damage accrued during shipping. If you would like shipping insurance on your order, please state it in the comments section of the order form. This is billed separately from any shipping charges.
