Native Trees

Native Trees are trees that grow in the area that they originate from. For instance, cacao beans from Colombia often come from the same region that they have always come from. Plants that grow in one area or one type of area are called native plants. Native plants are not usually found other places. They are only found in particular climates, regions, or areas of the world. Wines in France come from particular vineyards like Chardonnay; true Chardonnay comes from the Chardonnay region of France and only from there.

Native Trees are often bound to an area because of the climate that it is provided with. Particularly acidic or less acidic soil helps different species grow. Other plants are susceptible to climatic changes. Oranges are best grown in a tropical environment. That is why they are only grown in the southern states in the United States like Florida and California. Some plants need moisture rich soils like soil found at the base of the Andes Mountain Range. Native plants have a particular home for a reason. Usually those reasons are environmental.

Some native plants survive in particular areas due to the animals or insects that feed on the plant. Seeds are swallowed while the animal or insect ingests the plant or flower from the plant. These seeds are then carried along paths that the animal frequents and can be deposited in this manner. This means that native plants are dependent on a particular carrier animal for survival. This is normal in the environment.

Native Trees are trees that live in one particular area or region due to many reasons. They are often found where abundant water, sunlight, nutrients, or animals are located as well. Animals and insects can transport native plant seeds along migratory paths and native habitats. This creates a specific area where native plants can repopulate. Some native plants are particular to only one region in the world like true Chardonnay wines. Others are just particular to a certain climate or environmental pattern like extra water or acidic soils.

Native Trees must be repopulated in the same area to continue the growth of the native plant species. Plants can become extinct by taking too many of them without replanting them. This happens a lot in the tree logging and fishing industries. People take too many native species without thinking to replant others to continue their life cycles naturally.

Native Trees are great for landscapes because they can completely transform any garden or landscape area. There are a large variety to choose from for all climate zones and soil conditions. These plants will be great for bordering walkways or driveways or plant this to become the focal point of any garden area. Many of these trees will also have a blooming season, mostly during the spring and summer months, and others will have bright green foliage that will spruce up any garden or landscape area. Some top sellers include the Black Walnut, the Flame Leafed Sumac and the Ironwood Tree.
